In the year 2000, the City of New Haven, Yale University and the local business community joined forces to establish Market New Haven, Inc. (MNHI) – the city’s first destination marketing organization.
For nearly two decades, MNHI remains the sole organization that continually works to promote New Haven’s vibrant lifestyle and leisure attributes, branding it as a great place to visit, live and work.
Our work has been widely recognized as an important catalyst for re-energizing the city, establishing a foundation for continued growth and economic development, driving downtown visitation, and fostering deep local pride among our residents.

MNHI’s destination focused PR efforts are targeted to national, regional and local audiences.
